Age is no longer a factor!
I've been slacking off on posting work and have been spend lots of time with my kids.
Meet a 2012 Mustang, owned by very interesting 72 year old gentalmen, I had the pleasure of spending a couple hours in his company talked about his cars and sales career.

TGIF Irish Quote
As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.

I had fun with this lettering project, a larger truck part for trade show.
The customer did a stop motion video at the same time for there partners and I hope I can post it once released.

When Science Fails
“Why is my red signs fading” it’s true red does fade much faster than
anything else no matter the material, but not to worry, there is a work around and
it’s quite effective.
The science behind it is rather interesting but I will not
bore you with the details, I’ll let an expert do that! "The red dyes are
more susceptible to fading because they look red and thus absorb blue, and blue
is the higher-energy light," notes David Erhardt of the Smithsonian Center
for Materials Research and Education.
Well there you have it, all your burning questions have been
answered; I have seen a lot of faded red
signs that are faded and I’m sure you have too.
The work around is an easy fix for your ‘sign guy’ should be
able to help you when you’re the sign is built, the process can be different
depending on the materials used and simply put it’s a UV coating to protect the
colour pigment.
If you have a red sign please make sure you get it UV coated
and remember ”A business with no sign is a sign of no business”

Celtic Knots
I have the opportunity to work in a local Irish pub,
Walsh's Snug in Newcastle.
I spend the night after hours painting the floor.
It was great fun and close to home!
